DAY 1 – NEW YORK • MUNICH
Depart from the U.S.A. as you begin your journey through the history,
culture and scenic wonders of England, Scotland and Oberammergau with
an overnight flight. Meals and overnight on board. After dinner relax
and enjoy the on-board entertainment.
DAY 02 LONDON • SALISBURY • STONEHENGE • BRISTOL
Arrive London where we will be met by our tour host and transferred
to Salisbury. Experience the grandeur of Salisbury Cathedral before
traveling to Stonehenge, the mysterious formation that dates back to
the Stone Age. On to Bristol, rich in seafaring tradition and linked
with the colonization of America. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAY 03 BATH • COTSWOLDS • BIRMINGHAM
Journey to the ancient town of Bath for a visit to the Roman Bath Museum
and see the elaborate 1st century spas. Drive through the beautiful
region of Cotswolds villages such as Lower Slaughter and Stow-on-the-Wold
to Birmingham which will be our home for the next three nights. Unpack
and relax. Dinner and Overnight at a centrally-located hotel.
DAY 04 • STRATFORD • BIRMINGHAM
This morning we visit Stratford, the birth place of William Shakespear,
the 16th century Harvard House, the Guildhall and Anne Hathaway's lovely
thatched cottage, preserved just as it was in Elizabethan times. Return
to Birmingham for dinner and overnight.
DAY 05 • WARWICK • COVENTRY • BIRMINGHAM
Our day begins with a visit to the Warwick Castle which is still inhabited.
Proceed to Coventry and see the magnificent Cathedral that was designed
by Sir Basil Spence. We return to Birmingham in time for dinner and
overnight.
DAY 06 • RUTHIN • CHESTER • LAKE DISTRICT
Today we travel to Whales. Visit the city of Ruthin before we return
to England. Our sightseeing in Chester will include the medieval walls
that completely enclose the city, the "magpie" houses, the
13th century Cathedral and St. John’s, an impressive Norman Church.
We travel to the Lake District for dinner and overnight
DAY 07 • LAKE DISTRICT • EDINBURGH
Travel north into England's scenic Lake District to see Lake Windermere,
Ambleside and charming Grasmere. Crossing into Scotland, you arrive
at the border town of Gretna Green. A visit to the Old Blacksmith's
shop illustrates why generations of runaway couples came here to be
married. Continue to Edinburgh, Scotland's charming capital city, where
you will be treated to a traditional Scottish dinner with a touch of
local entertainment.
DAY 08 • EDINBURGH
A tour of the regal city of Edinburgh includes the famous Edinburgh
Castle, home of the Scottish crown jewels, and the Palace of Holyrood
House (except when the Queen is in residence), once the home of Mary,
Queen of Scots. The remainder of your day is at leisure to further explore
the museums and shops of the Scottish capital.
DAY 09 • YORK • NOTTINGHAM
Depart for Nottingham via Abbotsford, the turreted mansion built by
Sir Walter Scott. Visit York where our sightseeing includes a visit
to the Minster with its majestic towers and priceless stained glass
windows, and a walking tour through medieval streets where the upper
stories of houses lean precariously across the roadway towards each
other. Proceed to Nottingham. Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 10 • WILLIAM CAREY SITES • OXFORD
Today we visit sites connected with William Carey - Kettering, Moulton,
Olney, Bedford, Elstow, and continue to Oxford, the intellectual center
of western civilization. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 11 • OXFORD • LONDON
Drive to Oxford for a tour of The Christ Church, Lincoln College (John
Wesley’s room), and St. Michael’s Church. Other reformers
associated with Oxford are George Whitefield, John Wycliffe and Benjamin
Ingham. Continue to London for dinner and overnight.
DAY 12 • LONDON
A delightful panoramic sightseeing tour highlights Buckingham Palace,
the Tower of London, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster
Abbey and the changing of the guard, if held. Enjoy an afternoon at
leisure to explore the sights of London at your own pace.
DAY 13 • LONDON • MUNICH
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Munich, Germany. Arrive Munich
where you will be met by your escort. Drive to Linderhoffs Castle built
by crazy King Ludwig. An amazing castle set high in the Bavarian Alps
with world renowned art and sculpture. Then on to Oberammergau, home
of the world-famous Passion Play which is performed once every ten years.
Dinner and overnight.
DAY 14 • PASSION PLAY
The entire day is devoted to attending a performance of the world famous
Passion Play which is held once every ten years in this charming small
Bavarian village. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 15 • OBERAMMERGAU • MUNICH
This morning we return to Munich. Our sightseeing tour of Munich includes
the gothic Rathdus (town hall) with its famous glockenspiel, the awesome
twin-spired Frauenkirche, Marienplatz, imperial residence Alte Pinakothec
and other principle places of interest. Dinner and overnight at our
hotel.
DAY 16 • MUNICH • NEW YORK
After breakfast we will transfer to the airport for our homeward bound
flight with wonderful memories of the land we visited.
